Bechem United striker, Abednego Tetteh has revealed that Accra Hearts of Oak rejected him a day after banging a hat trick.
Bechem United demolished the Phobians by a 3:1 at the Bechem Park in the Match Day 27 fixture. The striker revealed that he trained with Hearts of Oak but was rejected by the manager in charge at the time, Herbert Addo.
Speaking to Kumasi based Metro FM in an interview, Abednego said, “I was there on trials but I was rejected.”
He further went on to make it clear he didn’t score to punish Hearts of Oak for rejecting him but for the benefit of his club, Bechem United.
“I had a feeling I would score hat trick praying a day before the game and I’m very happy it happened”. Abednego added.
Abednego has 12 goals to his credit in his debut season in the Ghana Premier.
