Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Alhaji Akanbi has praised the exploits of their winger Patrick Razak and believes that he can one day carry the Black Stars on his shoulders.
Accra Hearts of Oak takes on Ashgold in the week 22 fixture of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium. Sergio Traguil and his players will be hoping to continue their successive run against the Obuasi based club.
Accra Hearts of Oak are comfortably leading the league table with 38 points after week 21 of the Ghana Premier League and one player that has really stand out is Patrick Razak.
Razak have been on a very good form since the appointment of the Portuguese tactician. He got the consolation goal for Hearts of Oak when they played Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and Alhaji believes that Razak one day will carry Black Stars on his shoulders.
“In football everything can happen because looking at where Ashgold are occupying in the league table, Ashgold are coming into this match as a wondered lion but I must also admit that Hearts of Oak team is improving every day.” Alhaji told Asempa Sports in an interview.
Quizzed on the exploits and the performance of Patrick Razak, he said, “Razak’s performance have been really surprising to us all because he is very courageous and what I can say is that, he can one day carry Black Stars on his shoulders.
“We have seen many come and play for Hearts of Oak but some panic on the field of play but Raazk as I have said is very courageous and have a good composure on the ball so if he can carry Hearts of Oak like this, then he can definitely carry the Black Stars as well”. Alhaji added.
Alhaji appealed to the supporters of the club to come in their numbers to supporters the club as they take on Ashgold.
