Legal Practitioner and Ace Broadcaster, Moses Foh Amoaning has urged the Ghana Football Association not to send Avram Grant to the Africa Cup of Nations as the head coach of the Black Stars due to his poor leadership quality style.
The Black Stars have failed to win five matches in a row. This hellish situation has made many Ghanaian football fans furious and has called on the GFA to show the Israeli tactician the exit door.
The Black Stars chances of making it four straight World Cup appearances is in tatters after losing to Egypt in Alexandria 2:0 in the second round qualifiers of the Russia 2018 World Cup.
With the difficulties surrounding the team and in less than two months to start the AFCON in Gabon, the former Ghana Boxing Authority president has urged the GFA not to send the former Chelsea and West Ham manager as the head coach of the club.
“The Ghana Football Association should come clear on the future of Avram Grant because if we keep him and send him to the AFCON, it will be a disaster.
“I am urging the FA to appoint Maxwell Konadu as the head coach of the Black Stars because Avram Grant has lost his passion and the respect he had for the country. He can’t win the trophy in Gabon if we send him as the coach of the Black Stars.
“He don’t have leadership qualities to the team but I strongly believe if Maxwell Konadu is given the nod as a Ghanaian, he will have the support of the country and I believe we can do something better during the AFCON but with Avram Grant and his leadership style, he has failed and it will be a disaster if he leads the team to Gabon and let not forget that many Ghanaian football fans want him out and the FA knows that.” He added.
