Technical Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Francis Oti Akenten has revealed that Avram Grant’s report on the 2017 Afcon will be ready soon.
Many football fans have questioned why Grant has not done a press conference or given us his report on the Black Stars participation in the 2017 Afcon.
“The Executive Committee met with the Technical team of the team and I am assuring all that Grant’s report on the Afcon will be ready soon. We the elite coaches will meet to evaluate the tournament, to see what we fell short, what to do and how to develop our game”, he said on Asempa FM.
“We have had discussions with Grant, on producing a report for the 2017 Afcon, which he has promised to produce”, he added.
On the future coach of the Black Stars, Oti Akenten said we must be patient on that decision.
“We need a coach who is wise, patient and one who is good with man management. We should have patience in our search for a new coach. Whether it is a Ghanaian coach or foreign coach, we need patience”, he said.
Ghana placed fourth, losing to Burkina Faso in the third and fourth place game at the just-ended 2017 Afcon held in Gabon.
