Ghana Black Stars striker, David Accam has described the decisions of Black Stars head coach as frustrating.
David Accam who has been invited by Avram Grant in Ghana’s previous encounters has failed to make the starting line-up in his previous call-ups despite exhibiting a good performance for his club throughout the season.
In an interview with Kumasi based Angel FM, Accam said, “Sometimes you have to respect the coach decision. He decides which players the team needs for the game so, although, I am at times frustrated but I know its part of the game. I am always ready to play whenever I am called.
Accam also expressed his optimism about Ghana’s World Cup qualifier against Egypt in November but believes the game will be a difficult one.
“The game would be a tough one but we have lots of good players in our team and everyone wants to play in the next World Cup. All the players are serious to give everything to Ghana to win the game next month and also qualify.
“We have the chance to win the game because our players are ready and we know we can go to Alexandria and deliver,” he added.
Quizzed if he has regretted playing in the MSL, he said, “I have no regrets moving to Major League Soccer. I think I’ve developed well ever since I joined Fires but for now I’m in no rush [to talk about my future because I still have a contract.”
“However, I will be happy to play in Europe again in the future,” he added.
