The supporters chairman of Medeama SC, Ekow Assifuah has issued a warning to StarTimes not to come and telecast their league match against Aduana Stars.
In an interview with Asempa fm, Mr Assifuah said they (the supporters) will not allow the official media sponsors for the league to telecast the match live. “startimes should not border to waste their time to come to Tarkwa for the live coverage of the match” he told Asempa fm.
Mr Assafuah reiterated that, no intervention will convince them (Medeama supporters) to rescind their decision and not even the club owner “I am not ready to listen to anybody not the club owner Moses Armah Parker” he added.
He threatened that the safety of the startimes crew cannot be guaranteed with the basis that, Aduana supporters prevented the official media rights holders from telecasting their match against Kotoko in Dormaa.
Some clubs have prevented startimes from telecasting matches and the last time was in Dormaa.
