Brong Ahafo regional circles chairman for Asante Kotoko, Kofi Wayo is calling on the Ghana FA to investigate the penultimate day clash between kotoko and Ashgold which ended 5-3 in favor of the Miners.
Wayo strongly believes both teams played a match of convenience as fans greeted the final whistle with jeers and boos.
Ashanti Gold SC came from a goal down to be Asante Kotoko 5-3 at the Len Clay sports stadium Wednesday.
Speaking in an interview with Abusua FM, he argued that some comments made by deputy operations manager of the club Ali Maradona before the game clearly is an evidence to what might have transpired in the game.
He said, “How can a management member say Kotoko will never beat Ashanti Gold SC to be relegated, I personally watched the game in Obuasi and i can tell you that both Ashgold and Kotoko supporters were booming at Kotoko management”.
”We are pleading to his royal majesty Otumfour Osei II to put up measures in place to end this childish acts at the club”. Kofi Wayo added
He added that the Brong Ahafo regional circles are waiting patiently for the premier to come to an end on Sunday and will at such register their displeasure to the live patron of the club.
‘’We are waiting for the league to end on Sunday after that we shall formally present a petition to Otumfour to on how bad the brand Kotoko has been reduced under Opoku Nti’s management ‘’.
