Newly appointed head coach of Hearts of Oak, Frank Nuttall Elliot has disclosed he was impressed with his player’s performance against Medeama SC.
The Phobians were looking forward to secure their first three points in the Premier League after drawing with Inter Allies in the opening match at the El-Wak Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak were looking forward to beat Medeama for the first time in the league but after failing to break that jinx Frank Nuttall has drawn some positives from the performance of his players insisting his was happy with the way his players played.
“I have to say that I am very impressed with the application, attitude and the motivation of my team and my players.” He told Asempa FM.
“They well according to the game plan till the end of the game. We were able to create some chances and they tried to prove a point.
“We dominated the game and I don’t thing Medeama SC created any chance and getting to the end of the game, we tried to get the three points by introducing some players on the field but I must say that was positive sign from my team.”
Hearts of Oak are now at the 9th position with just two points after two matches played and will now travel to Cape Coast on Wednesday to play Ebusua Dwarfs in the match day three fixture.
