Vice President of the Ghana Football Association, George Afriyie has admitted the Black Stars have been poor.

The Black Stars have failed to record good results in their last four matches which has sparked anger among several football fans in the country.

The team began their Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifications with disappointing results against the Cranes of Uganda at the Tamale Sports Stadium raising calls for head coach Avram Grant to be sacked.

Football fandom doubts if Ghana can make it four straight world cup appearances after failing to record impressive results.

“It is a big worry, we must admit that the team has been poor recently, and it is a big worry to every Ghanaian.” George told the media.

“I agree we need to sit him (Grant) down and let him know that everyone is worried about the performance of the team recently.

“I have a huge influence when it comes to that, whatever I say could be considered.”

Ghana faces a tough task as they prepare to play Egypt in Alexandria on November 13th.
