Give the U-20 players a chance-Oduro Sarfo.

Football Administrator; Nana Oduro Sarfo has stated that, it’s about time Black Stars coach; James Kwesi Appiah should start giving opportunities to young players to play for the Senior National team.

According to Oduro Sarfo on Adom TV, some of the players that were called to the Black Stars for the Congo game are bench-warmers in their various clubs, some were injured and over-aged.
“Player like Harrison Afful, his fitness wasn’t correct but was called. Jonathan Mensah and Kwadwo Poku are also plying in a ‘retirees’ [weak] league. Attamah Larweh was played out of position and our goalkeeper has been on the beach for about a month now.” He said.

Oduro Sarfo emphasized on the fact that, some of the U-20 players; the Black Satellites who have been rejected needs to be included in the Black Stars team.
“we should go back to the U-20 team that went to Egypt and Senegal; select players and build the team around them.” He added.

The Black Stars play Congo on Tuesday in Brazzaville after drawing 1-1 with the Congolese in the first leg in Kumasi.
