Newly appointed head coach of Hearts of Oak, Frank Nuttall believes that the Ghana Premier League is one of the most competitive leagues on the continent describing the standard as very high.
The Scottish tainer was in charge when they drew goalless with Medeama SC in match day 2 fixture of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Hearts sports Stadium.
The Phobains drew with Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast stadium in the match day 3 fixture.
Nuttull commenting on the league despite his short stay in the country said the standard of the Ghana League is high.
“The league is a very tough league, most of the players are good and the standard is very high.” he said.
“You can see how the league finished last season, the competition between the top teams and the bottom teams was really intense
“The point’s difference was small that shows it is very competitive league.”
Hearts of Oak are at the 9th position with just three points and will play Wa All Stars in the match day 4 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
