Head coach of Accra Great Olympics, Godwin Attram believes their tie against Hearts of Oak will be a difficult one.
Olympics have struggled to make an impact in the Premier League after they gained qualification to the topflight.
After five matches played in the Ghana Premier League, the club have failed to record any win, they have lost three times and have drawn twice leaving them at the 16th position with only two points.
Olympics will take on Hearts of Oak in the match day six fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium but the former Black Stars players believes it will be difficult tie for them.
“I know it will be a difficult match against Hearts of Oak.” He told Asempa FM. “They [Hearts of Oak] lost against Aduana Stars and they are having six points which is not good for them.
“We are having only two points so there is pressure on us as well as them but I believe this is a match of live for my players. It is derby and the fans are eager to watch this match.
“I have to do what I have to do as coach in other to get the points we want. We are ready for the match because I have told my players this Hearts of Oak so we have to put in all our effort.
Attram further disclosed why he has not been playing compared to when the team was in the Division One League.
“The reason why I have been playing is that I want to give way to the young players to play. I will sit on the bench and support the team but when things get difficult and I have come on to play I will do that to support the team.” He added.
