Newly appointed managing director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Vincent Sowah Odotei has revealed that the club will show some players the exit door.
The football administrator who returned to Hearts of Oak as the Chairman of the Strategy Committee will take up the vacant position left by Gerald Ankrah.
The staunch Hearts of member had previously worked as the Chief executive officer of the Club in 2007/08 where he helped the Club to win their last Premier League title. His new appointment will see him supervise all aspects of the Clubs dealings.
Hearts of Oak are leading the league table with 39 points after 22 matches played.
Speaking to Kumasi based Nhyira FM in an interview, Odotei said, “There are about nine players. We are reviewing the club and reviewing the capacity and the performance of each player.
“One thing I can assure them is that, we don’t want Accra Hearts of Oak to retrogress looking at where we are now. We are investing a lot into the club and we are doing everything possible that the players remain happy in a sustainable manner so those players whose contract are about to end, we will review all of them.
“Those that we feel we must keep, we will definitely keep them and those that we don’t want them to stay, we show them the exit door because we are doing all these things in other ensure that the club never retrogress.” Odotei added.
