Hearts of Oak defender, Inusah Musah has revealed he is ready to the season and well prepared to defend his award as the best defender.
Inusah was awarded the best defender in the 2015/16 season after playing just 14 matches in the second round of the season after missing the first round through injury.
The militant defender was recruited into the team under auspices of Kenichi Yatshuhatsi and has really established himself to be a reliable defender.
The defender was called to train with national team ahead of the ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations but was dropped by Avram Grant but he is highly optimistic of defending his award as the best defend in the 2016/17 season.
“I am fully fit now because I took part in the preseason.” He told Asempa FM. “I have high hopes because when you win the best defender people will demand more from you so I have to work more extra to increase my number of matches I played with the defensive approach.
“My determination is to defend my title as the defender of the season because it wasn’t easy to win that award with only fourteen matches so I will make sure I play all the matches so I can defend y title.” He added.
