Skipper for the Black Stars, Asamaoh Gyan has debunked reports suggesting he is not in good terms with the West Ham record signing Andre Dede Ayew.
There have been continuous media reports suggesting that both players are not in good terms due to the national team captain hand band.
With no doubt, many have tipped Dede Ayew to captain the team due to the continuous injuries of the former Liberty Professionals goal poacher but the UAE based footballer says there is no differences between him and deputy captain.
“I don’t have any problem with Andre Ayew.” Gyan told Asempa Sports when quizzed if he has any problem with Dede.
“Andre has been my friend since he joined the national team and I have been his inspiration but sometimes people want to bring some rivalry between us. In the past years we have seen that happening in the team but I always try to keep things real but I don’t have problem with Andre because he is a good person and a fighter as well.
“He always does what he has to do but my advice to people is that they should stop putting that rivalry between two players who are very good to each other.
“I don’t think we have any problem with him but my advice to people is to stop because when you do that, it brings conflicts which are not good for the team. People only sit down and try to set up agenda that will bring confusion but it will not help the team.” Gyan emphasized.
