Referee William Agbovi has revealed that he was very cautious when he was officiating the big clash between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The big clash ended in one all draw but Referee William Agbovi has revealed that he was very cautious when he was officiation the game.

In the time past, such matches are always surrounded with controversies but Abgovi did his possible best not to incur that controversies again at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

“We have management of players when it comes to football but in refereeing it is not anything that you have to flash out your cards.” He told Asempa Sports in an interview.

“In some incident no matter what you do, you have to flash out your cards but in the game I officiated, I did my possible best to manage the players to enable me to reduce the amount of cards that I will flash out.

“So during the game, if a player commit a foul I will approach the person and ask him to take his time and play so I was talking to them on the field of play just to manage them in other not to flash out many cards.” He added.
