Suspended Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng says he will be willing to return to the national team once issues surrounding his exit are thrashed out.
According to the controversial forward, he would not want to return to the Black Stars fold with “bad spirits” hence the need for talks with authorities.
The former Milan star has not played for Ghana since 2014 when he was sent home for an alleged discipline at the Brazil World Cup.
In an interview with CCTV News, Boateng admits the dream of playing in a third World Cup and would jump at another opportunity to play in the Ghana colours at Russia 2018.
“It is for every player a big dream to play a World Cup. If there would be a chance to play a third World Cup in my career? It is not a lot of players who can say they’ve played in three World Cups and of course I’ll not say no,” he stated.
“But before this happens, I think we would have to have a lot of talks because I don’t want to go back with bad spirits or something. If I would go back, I want everything to be perfect then we can work perfect together.
The 29-year-old is widely accused of bringing negative energy to the Ghana national team whenever he gets invited.
