Head coach of Inter-Allies, Jimmy Cobblah has acclaim his players for recoding an impressive 4-0 win over New Edubiase at the Tema Stadium on Sunday in the Match Day 27 fixture.
The Tema based club have moved out of the relegation zone on goal difference after thumping the bottom placed team at home.
Emmanuel Nettey put Inter Allies Ahmed in the 33rd minute and Ropapa Mensah doubled the lead early in the second half. Prince Baffoe got a second half brace to complete the rout, which has left New Edubiase’s Premiership status hanging by a threat.
The win served as a big relieve for the 2014 FA Cup finalist who are battling relegation in this season’s Ghana Premier League.
Jimmy Cobblah who took over the club from Herbert Addo has applauded his players for that big win over Edubiase.
“A good win for the team, we had no other choice then to win, at this stage goals are also important so we needed to score more as well,” he told the media after the game.” Jimmy told the media.
“I must congratulate my boys for this win because from the way they play you could see they were eager to win.” he added.
Inter Allies are now occupying the 13 position with 31 points and will play Dreams FC in the Match Day 28 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
