Accra Hearts of Oak defender Inusah Musah is eager to gain a call-up to the Black Stars team after impressing in the just ended Ghana Premier League.
The defender was a big delight to watch and won the hearts of the supporters with his impressive performance.
Having hit with an injury at the beginning of the season, the former Tudu Mighty Jets center-back returned to man the back for Hearts in the second half of the season.
The tough tackler who has been undoubtedly been one of the instrumental players for the Phobians this season is looking forward to an opportunity in the Black Stars team.
Speaking to the media, Inusah said, “By the grace of God things have really gone well for me this season. I was injured but came back in the second round and I am pleased with my performance.
“Earning a call-up to the National team will be one of y biggest achievement. I will be very happy if I get that opportunity.
“But since I have not received any invitation yet I still have to work very hard and with that I could be invited.” He added.
Football enthusiasts have called on Black Stars Coach Avram Grant to invite the defender for next month’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against Uganda at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
