Former Director General of the National Sports Authority, Mr. Worlanyo Agrah has labelled the minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Asiamah as one who has the clouts to succeed as a minister.
In an interview with sportsniteleaks.com, the former CAF executive claimed it takes some influence to get money from government to help the sports sector and was quick to mention Hon. Asiamah. ” I think the current minister (Hon Isaac Asiamah) has that Clout, he has been on the sports committee for long since I was chief executive” he said
He added that the sector minister will need the help of competent hands to help him succeed. “If he gets the right people on the sports council and board, they can advise him” he reiterated
Mr. Agrah served as director general for three years from 2009 to 2012 during the reign of the late President, Professor J.E.A Mills.
