Vociferous football administrator, Kofi Manu popularly known as “Blue Boy” in the football world has acclaimed newly crowned Ghana Premier League champions Wa All Stars for their historic success.
According to him, shrugging off the fatigue involved in long distances for the premier league matches was not an easy task for the Wa based club.
Wa All Stars inked their name into history books after becoming the first Northern team to win the Ghana Premier League.
“In any race only one person wins and ones Wa All Stars are the champions I will say they are the worthy winners because if you look at the distance they were travelling to honour football matches down south, it was not an easy task. But upon all that, the boys were able to play their hearts out after all this fatigue. I think Wa All Stars did very well”. Kofi Manu told Ahoto FM.
Wa All Stars are expected to make a history in next year’s CAF Champions League.
