Kofi Sunsum Sound a Strong Warning to Hearts of Oak Management

National Chapters Organizer for Accra Hearts of Oak, Paa Kofi Sunsum has called on the leaders of the club to wake up if they are sleeping.

Hearts of Oak suffered the heaviest defeat over the weekend and their away records was brought to an end by the Sogakope based club. The academy boys were in scintillating form right from the blast of the whistle and by midway of the first half, they had torn the Phobians into shreds, ending the match as a contest.

Komla Agbegniadan hit a brace to become the star of the show, starting with a 3rd minute opener. Charles Boateng doubled WAFA’s lead four minutes later.

Agbegniadan put the match beyond the reach of the Phobians as in the 25th minute with the 3rd goal for WAFA.

“I am very sad because after the game I knew that either Aduna Stars or Wa All Stars will definitely come and overtake us but I thank God we are still at the second position but I know all is not lost.” Kofi Sunsum told Asempa Sports in an interview.

“After our match against Ashgold, I contacted WAFA and I discussed it with our leaders but they failed to implement what I discussed with them and the defeat means that we were really humiliated but we are still looking forward to what our leaders will do because Techiman City will come to Accra and we will make sure we get all the three points.

“Looking at our team, I wish we have somebody like Amos Frimpong who can change the game for us because as we speak the only player that changes things for Kotoko is Amos Frimpong and I wish we have somebody like him but the leaders are simply showing that they are not ready to push the team.

He continued, “I want to call on Odotei and the rest of the management members that the club want to win the league. We had a discussions with the various supporters groups and they all agreed that we should win the league this season and it was accepted so I want to tell the leaders of the club to wake up and do anything in their capacity to help the club to win the league because we will not tolerate any abysmal attitude from the management.

“What I am seeing is that the leaders of the club are sleeping and after the defeat I wish I can stop supporting the club but I can’t stop so the management members should wake up and help the club to win the league because this year is very cheap for Hearts for to win the league.” Sunsum added.
