Head coach of Liberty Professionals, George Lamptey has revealed that Kumasi Asante Kotoko were better than them after losing 2:0.
Liberty were without their star player Latif Blessing who have scored 13 goals due to injury. The performance of Liberty Professionals in the second round of the season seems to be in shambles.
The Dansoman based club after nine matches played in the second round of the season, Liberty have been able to win one. Drawn three and lost five with only six matches left.
“It was a very difficult game but it in the first half, we were able to match Kotoko but in the second half they were a little bit stronger than us.” George told Asempa Sports.
“They were very dangerous upfront but it was a good game but I will accept the defeat.
“I lost two of my players and that was where Kotoko took advantage of it.” George added.
Liberty Professionals after losing to Kotoko now finds themselves at the 9th position with 30 points and now play Ashgold at the Obusai Len Clay Stadium on Wednesday in the match day 25 fixtures of the Ghana Premier League.
