Liberty Professionals big hitter Latif Atta Blessing believes Dreams FC defender Abeiku Ainosoon did not keep him out when the CK Akonnor’s side defeat George Lamptey’s team at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman.
The former Kotoko defender was believed to have stopped and man-marked the swift Liberty forward out of the game but Blessing believes he was necessarily kept out in the game and failed to propel his team.
” I will say there are the both the good and bad times in football. There are times you have a good game and sometimes you have a bad day. It does not mean Abeiku stopped me. Even likes of Messi and Ronaldo have bad days. In that game against Dreams, we were not very lucky and things did not go on well as expected for the team so it does not mean he (Abeiku Ainosoon) stopped me.” Atta Blessing emphasized on Kumasi-based Metro FM.
“I can say all the defenders I’ve faced int the league are very good. I never take it easy against them and that pushes me to even work harder.” the Liberty star-attraction added.
Latif Blessing leads the Ghana premier league goal scorers chat with thirteen goals having hit a hat trick in his last game against Sekondi Hasaacas.
