Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu has heap praised on Liberty Professionals Latif Blessing for his exploits in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League season.
The Liberty Professionals midfielder hit the back of the net 17 times, including a hat-trick on the final day of the season against FA Cup winner Bechem United and was crowned the goal king of the GPL.
Speaking to the media in an interview, Konadu said, “Latif Blessing has really played well and scored wonderful goals. I think he has done so well. From nowhere and coming to Liberty and playing that wonderful role in their setup, I think we have to commend him. [Augustine] Okrah of Wa All Stars has also done very well. A whole lot of players but I don’t want to zone in on one particular player. We have talented players all over the place but only one can win. I think Latif Blessing has some qualities.
“He is such a huge talent and he has been a huge influence in our team and without him, we were struggling to win games in the Ghana Premier League. We are just praying for him to get a contract outside to further his career and make money for himself and his family. He is such a great talent; we will miss him, but we can only wish him the best in his career.” Kotoko head coach added.
The skillful midfielder has been tracked by several clubs locally and internationally.
