Minister-designate for Youth and Sports, Isaac Asiamah has pleaded with Ghanaians to pardon the Black Stars players for what happened in the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup.

After the teams exit from the group of the World Cup, many Ghanaian football fans lost the love and the passion they have for the players.

Due to the teams’ unimpressive performance of the players in Brazil, the player’s performance was described as the worst performance after reaching the round of 16 in Germany in the 2006 FIFA World Cup and playing in the quarter finals in South Africa in the 2014 FIFA World Cup respectively.

The players have pleaded on several occasions but the Member of Parliament for the people of Atwima Mponua constituency has urged Ghanaian to forgive the Black Stars players.

“Most Ghanaians are not happy with the team. But I will humbly appeal to Ghanaians to rekindle their support and love for the team. The team is all we have, so I will humbly entreat all Ghanaians to forgive and back the team.” He added.
