Interim coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Michael Osei believes that despite drawing with Aduana Stars, his players did their maximum best to win.
Kotoko and Aduana Stars shared the points at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Porcupine Warriors were looking forward to revenge against the Dormaa based club after losing to them in the first round by a lone to nothing.
Kotoko are still at the fourth position with 40 points with only five matches left to end the season.
“The results is very painful but I am very happy with the performance of the players.” Osei told Adom Sports in an interview.
“They did their maximum best because in our last game against Liberty Professionals, they did very well but we needed a goal to climb up but this is football but I think my players did very well.”
Kotoko now play Sekondi Hasaacas at the Essipong Sports Stadium in the match day 26 fixtures of the Ghana Premier League.
