Nuru Sulley’s Alanyaspor taste defeat on Turkish Super Lig debut

Ghanaian international, Nuru Sulley tasted defeat with his team Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig opener when they lost 4-1 to Besiktas on Saturday.

The former Accra Hearts of Oak defender was making his first appearance in the Turkish top-flight League with his Club.

Alanyaspor were given the baptism by the Turkish giants at the Vodafone Arena in İstanbul.

The former local Black Stars center-back could do little to help his side avoid humiliation despite featuring the entire game.

Nuru Sulley played an important role in helping his side to earn a promotion to the Turkish Super Lig at the end of the 2015/16 season.

He will be hoping to help his Club record their first victory of the season when they host Antalyaspor in their next League game.

Teammate Isaac Sackey also featured in the game but played only 46 minutes for Alanyaspor.
