Renowned football administrator, Worlanyo Agra has urged newly appointed member the FIFA Executive Council Kwesi Nyantakyi to resolve issues properly before he quit as the president of the Ghana Football Association.
In closely-contested elections held on Thursday in Cairo to elect two new African representatives to Fifa Council, Nyantakyi polled 31 votes to go through alongside Guinean Almamy Kabele, who polled 37 votes. Madagascar’s Ahmad missed out narrowly with 30 votes whiles Senegal’s Augustin Senghor polled 9 votes.
“He has done very well as a person and I congratulate him for that.” Worlanyo Agra told Asempa FM.
“It have been reported that there is fiction between the FA and the Ministry but I will urge Kwesi Nyantakyi to resolve issues properly before he quits as the GFA president.”
