Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nelson has disclosed the exit of Acting Managing Director of the club will not affect the performance of the club.
The football administrator was elected into Parliament on the ticket of the NPP after defeating incumbent Nii Amissah Namoale during the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary election which took place last Wednesday.
Odetei has been criticized by a session of Hearts of Oak fans who have been calling for his exit from the club.
Despite his exit from the club, Frank Nelson believes it will not affects the performance of the club going into the 2016/17 season which has been scheduled to start on February 4.
“It is sad we are going to lose him but I will say that it will not affect our performance next season.
“I have been hearing people saying that he exits are going to create a vacuum. We are always in touch with him and he is ready to listen to us when we need him.
“We appreciates whatever he has done for the club and we also wish him the best of luck going to parliament.” He added.
odotei’s exit from the club will force the Phobians to appoints a new Managing Director before the starts of the 2016/17 campaign.
