Public Relations Officer for Accra Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo has urged the players of the Phobian club to take up their chances during matches.
The performance of Accra Hearts of Oak have been very poor especially in the second half of the league and when playing at home.
After nine matches played in the second half of the league, Hearts of Oak have won three, drawn five and lose one. Out of those nine matches played, five have been played at home and they have been able to win only two and drawn three of the matches played at home in the second round of the league.
The Phobian club now play Wa All Stars at Malik Jabir Sports Stadium at Wa in the match day 25 fixtures of the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking to Asempa Sports ahead of their clash, Opare said, “The reality is that we are failing to our chances but if we want to complete our mission then we have to take our chances because we create more chances than any other team but we are failing to score.
“Playing Wa Al Stars, we have a mission to complete despite the draw we recorded against Techiman City at home. We lost against WAFA but we didn’t take that into heart because their style of play is very difficult and any team that will play against them will always finds it difficult but in all these situations, we need to get all the three points against Wa All Stars to keep on focusing on the league and keep making the supporters happy.
“I know the table will change by tomorrow and it might happen that we will drop or we go on top of the table but I am very optimistic that we will win against Wa All Stars in other to occupy the top position and when we win against Wa All Stars I think we will be on top of the table till the league comes to an end.” Opare added.
