Former Hearts of Oak captain, Joseph Owusu Bempah has vowed to come back stronger next season.
The former Black Satellite player struggled for game time last season due to persistence injuries, which prompted Hearts of Oak to act against renewing his contact in the off season.
Bempah was one of the players that hugely improved under Kenichi but couldn’t leave up to expectation but have vowed to bounce back stronger.
“It’s not every day that you’ll have what you want as a human being. My dip in form last season was due to repeated injuries I had to battle, but by God’s grace I’m very fit now.”
“When coach Kenichi was at the helm of the team, I was doing well up until I sustained the injury, which disrupted my whole season. However, I wouldn’t want to dwell on what went wrong last season too much. I want to focus on what’s ahead of me because I’m a free player now and I have started discussions with some clubs in country and abroad but I’ll make sure I come back stronger next season.” He added.
