National Chapters Organizer for Accra Hearts of Oak, Paa Kofi Sunsum has revealed Asante Kotoko have performed some rituals ahead of their tie on Sunday.
The Phobains will play the rivals in the match day eight fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium after losing to Tema Youth at the Tema Sports Stadium in the match day seven on Wednesday and will be hoping to secure all three points on Sunday.
Hearts of Oak are finding it difficult to find the rhythm this season. After seven matches played in the Ghana Premier League, the Phobians are with 9 points occupying the 9th position. They have won two, drawn two and have lost three times.
It well known that before the Ghana El-Classico kicks off anytime, things are done behind closed doors but according to Sunsum, they have been able destroyed the plans Kotoko have done at the Accra Sports Stadium by burning a dog they buried at the stadium.
Speaking to Asempa FM on the Ultimate Sports Show, he said, “After our match against Tema Youth we had the information that some members of Asante Kotoko have gone to bury a live dog at the Accra Sports Stadium which Edmund Ackah is aware of that.
“We had to go and destroyed those rituals after our match. What I want to say is that we have destroyed it and Kotoko will have nothing to prove on Sunday. Playing at home against WAFA, they failed to control the game and they struggled to win that match so there is no way they can pick up a point on Sunday.
“There are consequences with what they did at the stadium and they will lose painfully on Sunday because we have destroyed their rituals.” He said.
However, Edmund Ackah who was in the studios of Asempa FM as a panelist rubbished off the claims of the National Chapters Organizer of Hearts of Oak.
He said, “I am not aware of what he is saying but what I want to tell him is that we will beat Hearts of Oak and if we lose I will sleep for three days and I will not come to the studios of Asempa FM again.
“I watch them against Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium I was hugely surprised the way and manner they played. They [Hearts of Oak] know they cannot stand us because their team is bad.” He added.
