The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Techiman City Mickey Charles says, referee Prince Amoah who doubles as a Police Officer failed to put up proper conducts on and off the field on Sunday.
According to Mickey, although it is not an obligation for a home team to host match officials, it has become a practice in Ghana Football; but Prince Amoah, who was the referee on the day rejected the quest to accommodate him and also, going to the extent to misinform them that, he was hosted by the Police command in Techiman.
“after the match, I asked the Police Commander about their hosting of Prince Amoah and he said Prince just reported as a police officer but they never hosted him.” he said.
The Football Administrator added that, referee, Prince Amoah, ignored some decisions by his assistants and took every decision by himself against Techiman City claiming that he is the centre man and he sees the actions clearer than the assistants.
When asked of their next line of action, he said, they are writing officially to the Referees Review Committee, the Inspector General of Police and the Interior Ministry for the issue to be addressed.
The local derby ended 0-2 in favor of visitors, Techiman Eleven Wonders.
