Prof. Dodoo didn’t deserve to be GOC President – Abbey Pobi

Vociferous football administrator, Abbey Pobi has disclosed President of Ghana Olympic Committee, Professor Francis Doodo didn’t deserve to be the president of the association.

Professor Dodoo have been in office for the past five years. Members of the association should have elected a new president before Ghana took part in the 2016 Brazil Olympics but Professor Dodoo asked the members to do the elections after the Brazil Olympics.

Reports in the local media suggests that the president is now in London insisting he is not ready for the elections but Mr. Pobi has called on Francis Dodoo to vacate his position as the president of the association because he didn’t deserve to be the president of GOC.

Speaking to Asempa Sports, Mr. Pobi said, “I am very sad because I was expecting Francis Dodoo to be doing what is right because I was part of those who brought him to office as the President of the association.

“Even though the way he came to office was awkward because the elections was conducted 3am. He should remember that he is there as the president of the association and nothing else so he should come back from wherever he is because he didn’t deserve to be the president of the association.

“Elections should have been conducted before the Brazil Olympics but he refused. I don’t want to reveal what transpired when he was coming to office but I am giving him only two weeks to vacate his office. Due to his behavior I can’t approach the former members of the association and the pressure on me is unbearable and his attitude are signs of greediness.”
