The communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Diarra has stated that the entire playing body of the Black Stars have decided not to discuss any monetary issues in the build up to their first match against Uganda.
In an interview with our editor, Enoch Worlanyo Wallace, the former BBC reporter asserted that, the players are ready to accept anything from the Country. ” They (Black stars) are not talking about any monetary issues, whatever the country thinks befits them should be given to them, that’s all” – he said
He added that the management of the team have communicated it to the Youth and Sports Ministry and are yet to receive a response from the ministry. ” I mean we leave it in the hands of the ministry of youth and sports to take care of business, we’ve communicated with ministry youth and we are yet to hear back from them” he added.
Ghana are yet to win a match after failing in their last five attempts against the Cranes of Uganda.
