Owner and bankroller of Nea Salamina; Ernest K. Baah has rejected the idea of filing a protest against the alleged fake penalty decision by Nuhu Liman in their game against Kotoko on sunday at the Baba Yara stadium.
In an interview on Sportsnite, Ernest revealed that, though they don’t side with the referee’s decision they are not going to waste their money to put across a protest with regards to the incident since they believe the scoreline cannot be reversed. “we have witnessed a series of a more clearer bribery allegations which were not given a fair hearing; how much more penalty decision protest.” He said.
According to Ernest K. Baah; on the field of play, Nea Salamina outplayed Kotoko to the extent that, their head coach; Steve Pollack even confirmed it. “Kotoko is a good side by all standards but on the day, they couldn’t stand our [Nea Salamina] pressure and this shows why we are on top of the zone one of the division one league.” He added.
