Head coach of Accra Great Olympics; Godwin Attram has stated that, in professional football, there should not be any form of dubious means to win the three points; fairness and hardworking is what is needed.
On sportsnite yesterday, the former PSV Eindhoven player said, he can only issue instructions if the players regularly report to training and with the support from the fans, the team can perform.
“when the players report to training, it is there that i can direct them to put up a good performance; also, when the players are underperforming during matches, the supporters should be cool with them.”
According to Attram, in their week 25 game against Hearts, it is obvious Hearts of Oak need the three points badly to match-up with the teams at the top of the league table but Olympics will work hard to win.
“the players [Olympics] know what is at stake; they have to put up their best, tactically and character wise to deliver for the team.” He added.
Olympics are currently last but one on the league log with 26 points and will face Hearts of Oak on Sunday as they fight for their fate in the league.
