With just a left for the Black Stars to play their opening match against the Cranes of Uganda in the Africa Cup of Nations, deputy captain of the team Andre Dede Ayew believes it a must win game.
The team failed to secure all three points in their opener against the Cranes in the 2018 FIFA World Cup at the Tamale Sports Stadium.
The Stars will be hoping to secure all three points after they were frustrated to a goalless draw.
Despite the Cranes doing an intense monitoring on the Black Stars, the West Ham attacking midfielder believes they must win against the Cranes to make the supporters happy.
“We will bring the cup to Ghana God willing.” Ayew told the press. “We thank everybody who has been with us.
“It a must win game against the Cranes of Uganda. It is going to be difficult match but we know have to win the match.
“We have been charged to win the trophy and that is our aim but before we have to win the ultimate we have to win our opening match but I can assure all Ghanaians we will bring the trophy home.” He added.
