Editor of Kotoko Express, Jerome Otchere has revealed the management of the club is disappointed in former interim coach Michael Osei.
The former New Edubiase coach has been demoted to the youth team by the management of the club. It has been widely reported that Zdravko Lugarusic who is now the head coach does not like to work with Michael Osei.
Michael Osei took the mantle as the interim coach of the club when David Duncan was shown the exit door by the Opoku Nti led administration when the team lost to Aduana Stars in match day six in Dormaa.
After the arrival of the Zdravko, the future of Michael Osei has not been clear and in a statement signed by Administrative Manager, Rose Padmore Yeboah, said Management expects the coach to use his “Rich experience to help develop the talents of the youth team”.
“Personally I like Michael Osei but when it comes to dealing with professionalism friendship is nothing to me.” Jerome told Asempa FM.
“It was wrong for him to go and radio to say the team has shown him the exit door whiles you have not even read what was in the letter that was addressed to you.
“If he thinks he doesn’t like his new position, the right thing was to reject it after he read the letter but to go on radio it does not show respect.
“Dr. Kyei’s mandate is to change the phase of the club so there will be more changes even before the season start. His actions has not speak well of him and we as a club are disappointed in him and I must say that his new appointment as the director of the youth team is not a demotion.” He added.
