Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker, Dauda Mohammed has revealed that they will not underrate Aduana Stars because they know they are potential league winners.
Kotoko will host the Dormaa based club in their match day 25 fixtures of the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. It is the battle of the second and fourth position. Kotoko are with 39 points after 24 matches played occupying the 4th position whiles Aduana Stars are with 40 points occupying the 2nd position on the league log.
Yaya Mohammed will be hoping to revenge against his former club in other to increase his goal tally at the Kumasi Sports Stadium but Dauda has revealed that they will not underrate the Dormaa based club.
“If Kotoko wants to win the league, then we should win every match.” Dauda told Asempa Sports in an interview.
“Playing Aduana Stars will be a difficult match because they are also potential league winners so we will make sure we take advantage playing at home to get all the three points.
Quizzed if he still aiming to win the goal king race, Dauda said, “The goal king race has not ended because you can see that the margin is not too much so I know everything can happen with the rest of the matches.”
