Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan want the team to maintain their winning streak against Egypt on Wednesday.
After winning against Uganda and Mali the Black Stars will now take on seven times African Champions in their last group game at the Stade Port Gentil stadium.
The Black Stars hopes of qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup have been put into tatters after Egypt defeated them by two goals to nothing in Alexandria.
The Black Stars are currently leading the Group D with six points whiles Egypt are with four points in to ongoing tournament in Gabon and the former Sunderland striker want the team to maintain their winning streak in the group phase of the competition.
“On Wednesday it is simple, we want to maintain our 100% record.” Gyan told Asempa FM.
“In such tournament you have to win games because you might not know the outcome but our main focus is to maintain our 100% record. Even though we are already in the next stage of the competition but we want to build our confidence in every game.” He added.
