Head coach of Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs, Prosper Nartey has revealed that his team was much better than the home team Techiman City.
Dwarfs pipped Techiman City by a lone goal to nothing at the Ohene Ameyaw Park at Techiman on Sunday.
Dwarfs continued their impressive second round display with a stunning goal from Alhaji Faisal Mustapha.
Their victory against Techiman City has pushed them to the 9th position with 30 points after 23 matches played.
“It was a good game and tactically we were far better than the home team and we were defensively compact and we moved offensively as unit.” Prosper Nartey told Asempa Sports.
“We able to connect our passes and we created chances more than them and fortunately we converted one of the numerous chances that we created. It was a good dream, we were the better side as well and I am not surprised that we won the game.
“What is working for us is hard work, discipline and self believe but the key thing is self believe. The players believe in me and I also believe in the players as well and they know they can do it and they are doing it so it all about self believe.
“I told them we have to press for the ball and we shouldn’t allow them to connect their passed together because if they are able to connect their passes together they will get the fans behind them and we did not allow them to do that and because they did not had a good day, their own fans were against them and psychologically it gave us the edge and we got ourselves in to the game and we won the match.” Prosper concluded.
