Interim head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Michael Osei have urged his players to work hard in other to keep their momentum in the league.

The Porcupine Warriors played Liberty Professionals at the Dansoman Sports on Saturday in the match day 24 fixtures of the Ghana Premier League.

Star man, Dauda Mohammed opened the scoring for Kotoko in the 41st minute before skipper Amos Frimpong sealed the victory in the 74th minute.

“The players were very determined to win the match and we have won it and I am very happy with their performance and the results.” Mickey told Asempa Sports in an interview.

“There are some times that there will be some challenges but we need to stick together and focus to work hard. The players have done very well because they were very discipline in tactical play and they were determine to win the match as well.

“We need to continue to work very hard to ensure that we win our next game in other to keep our momentum in the league.”

The win over the Dansoman based club have taken the Warriors to the 4th position with 39 points with only two points difference between the league leaders Wa All Stars with six matches left to end the season.

Kotoko will now play Aduana Stars at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Wednesday in the match day 25 fixtures of the Ghana Premier League.
