Istanbul Basaksehir defender; Joseph Attamah Larweh has raised hopes that, the Black Stars World Cup dream is still achievable and they can qualify only if they work hard and believe.
The former Tema Youth player in an interview on sportsnite said, playing for the Black Stars is all about time and when your time comes, you will be called to contribute your quota.
“all [former players] who were called to play for the Black Stars had their time; and now, it’s my time.”
Attamah believes that, no body has a permanent in the Black Stars and so, being sidelined will not be a problem for him.
“I cannot guarantee my position in the team; it all depends on the coach. If he gives me the chance, I will play.” He added.
Joseph Attamah; 23, joined Turkish first division side; Adana Demirspor in 2014. He participated in the 2013 FIFA u-20 World Cup in Turkey scoring one goal as a defender and now a member of the 24-man squad by Kwesi Appiah for the World Cup qualifying game against Congo.
