Former Hearts of Oak interim coach and Ghanaian international, Yaw Preko has urged the Black Stars to win the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
Ghana, having missed out on the tittle on three occasions are poised to end the 34-year jinx in Gabon as the team prepare for the competition.
The team is expected to depart from the country tomorrow after head Coach Avram Grant has named his final squad for the competition for the camping in Dubai.
But Yaw Preko believes the Black Stars have what it takes to win a fifth Cup of Nations title.
“I’ve been watching their training on the net and even how the supporters are cheering the players on is something I have not seen in a long time, I’ve some strong believe that the team with right preparation can win trophy,” he told Asempa FM.
The team ended their non-residential training in Ghana on Saturday.
