Interim coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Yaw Preko could get the nod as the head coach of the club on a permanent basis if wins their remaining three matches.
Board member of the club, Dr Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has disclosed after Preko was appointed to replace re-assigned Portuguese manger Sergio Traguil.
Tamakloe observed Preko’s training session last week and remains convinced about his qualities.
“If he wins the rest of the matches and we are convinced he is good, we wouldn’t hesitate to make him (Preko) the substantive coach,” he said.
Yaw Preko served as an assistant coach to Japanese manager Kenichi Yatsuhashi and Portugese trainer Traguil- all this season.
The ex-Ghana international and Hearts of Oak winger will take charge of his first match on Sunday against Ebusua Dwarfs at home.
