Editor of Kotoko Express, Jerome Otchere has advised the head coach of the club Zdravko Lugarusic to have patient to manage the club.
Media reports has emerged that the Lugarusic had a disagreement with the Jerome after end of the match at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
Jerome was reported to have asked the coach what brought the pressure on the team against Bechem United but the coach reported to have said he [Jerome Otchere] did not watch the match. This statement by the Croatian coach brought a huge disagreement between him and Jerome.
But Jerome however believes for Zdravko to succeed at the club, he needs to be patient with issues.
“After the match a media asked a question and I also asked him what brought the pressure on the team and he [Zdravko Lugarusic] told me I didn’t watch the match.” He told Asempa FM.
“It is difficult job that he is doing. He has to be patient with what he is doing but I am very happy he has brought something different to the team.
“The players are happy with him but I know against Ashgold it will be a difficult match at Obuasi. We failed to win a major trophy last season so the supporters are expecting that things will change so he has to be patient.
“He is doing a good job for the club but I still maintain that he need to be patient and I know the supporters will support him all the time.” He added.
Asante Kotoko is on the second position with seven points and will now play Ashgold at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in the match day four fixture.
